Description
Sublimation printers use the Ø 50 cm Duraluxe round panel as a ready-to-press aluminium blank: rigid, frameless and built for detail. Round prints work for mandalas, planets, flowers and other centred compositions.
- Architectural-grade aluminium, 1.2 mm (0.047") thick.
- Indoor and outdoor use depending on finish, with a 5-year outdoor warranty on Glossy, Matte, Satin and Canvas.
- UV protection comes from a polymer powder-coated surface, so colours stay vivid.
- Hand-bendable once printed, without any tooling.
- Resists scratches and graffiti; acrylic spray paint lifts off with ethyl alcohol.
Eight surfaces, from high-shine Glossy and glare-free Matte to Satin, textured Canvas, soft Ice Touch, rippled Salt Lake, sparkling WallSky and glow-in-the-dark Glow. VOC-free, solvent-free and non-flammable. Shear it to size or drill fixing holes, either before or after printing. The Ø 50 cm size is popular for portrait sessions, café and restaurant décor and point-of-sale displays.

How to Sublimate
Duraluxe Panel Preperation:
- Remove the white protective film from the panel
- Make sure surface is free of lint and dirt
- You may use alcohol to clean surface
- Make sure panel is dry before applying transfer paper
Pressing Instructions:
- Preheat heat press by cycling the press two times to warm up the base
- Place a Nomex or similar heat felt on top of rubber base
- Place a clean sheet of paper to cover felt to protect
from excess ink gas during sublimation process - Place Duraluxe Panel with transfer face down on top of
protective paper - Place clean paper or heat fabric on top of panel to
protect from heat platen surface during pressing - Check temperature is set for 196C/385F
- Press time is set for 120 seconds (adjust time depending on your heat press)
- Pressure is medium or 60 psi
- Press the panel
- Remove protective paper from back of panel
- Lift panel from press careful with heat gloves
- Remove transfer paper and place panel face up on a cooling table or rack
